Carrol James “C.J.” Wood, 81, Alamogordo, passed away peacefully at his home on December 30, 2014. C.J. was born December 18, 1933, in his family home near Cloudcroft to Reuben and Mae Wood. He was raised in the Cloudcroft area and graduated from Cloudcroft High School in 1951. During the Korean War, he served in the Navy until 1956. In 1954, he married his sweetheart Edna Eryl Dove. Charlotte Allyne Jane Garnett Pearce, 89, Lubbock, passed away on December 4, 2014. Jane was born to Ed and Alma Garnett in Lynn County, Texas on February 21, 1925. She married the late Melvin Marcus Pearce, O’Donnell, Texas, on June 10, 1942. They had six children, five boys and one girl. Jane was raised near Draw and O’Donnell. Jane and Melvin resided in Hobbs for 35 years; they then made their home in College Station, and most recently Jane lived at Carillon LifeCare Community in Lubbock.… Read the rest

Trinidad “Trina” B. Sanchez, 91, Adelino, passed away on November 26, 2014. Trina peacefully went with the sun rising and her cows calling her on her farm. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Tome for all her 91 years. For over 50 years she was a member of the New Mexico Farm & Livestock Bureau (NMFLB). Tiffany Lee Eggleston-Tuttle, 49, Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Oct 1, 2014 at home after a long battle with breast cancer. Tiffany was born on August 24, 1965 in Albuquerque to Ralph and Susan Eggleston. Tiffany was a loving, devoted wife to husband Dwight (Bud) Tuttle, and a loving mother to her two precious sons; Brennen and Tres, and stepson, Matthew and wife Naomi of Austin, TX. Billy Joe Wells, 83, Claunch, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014 in Albuquerque. Billy was born February 13, 1931 in Gran Quivira, New Mexico to James and Mennel (McDaniel) Wells. Billy was a member of the NRA. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mennel Wells; wife Carolyn Elizabeth; grandchildren Amber Langley and Danny Wells. Duane E. Webb, 78, Phoenix, Arizona, passed away quietly on August 16, 2014. Duane was born November 13, 1936 in Miami, Arizona, to Jack J. and Helen M. Webb both Arizona natives. Jack was son of E. J. Webb a native Arizona Rancher in Gila County. Duane was raised at the A Cross and Reynolds Creek with his family until he was nine. The family moved to the Tempe area, where his father had a dairy operation up until 1962.Read the rest

Phyllis J. “Jean” Dilworth, Tucson, Arizona, passed away on July 25, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones. Jean was a long-time member of the Tucson Cowbelles. She is survived by her three daughters, Judy, Dorinda and Rina; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 6:30 p.m., at River Basin Ranch, Benson, Arizona.
