New Mexico Cowbells Jingle Jangle

Making a difference. That’s what the New Mexico CowBelles have been doing since Pat Nowlin started the first local in our state in 1957. For 58 years, dedicated and passionate BEEF supporters have been participating in Ag Days, doing Father’s Day promotions, and hosting booths at health fairs.

What a wonderful year I have had serving as the New Mexico Cowbelle President I can scarcely believe a whole year has passed.

I feel like we do an amazing job promoting, educating, and advocating beef and its amazing by-products. Cowbelles has always been and will always be our biggest bell ringer. Thanks to all of you girls.

I want to shout out a big “thanks” to all of the ladies that served on committees for me this year and also to all those that served as Presidents and officers of your locals.

hope everyone has received something in the way of rain in this “El Nino”. It’s time once again for school to start. I swear it seems like I just told you guys “get your graduation gifts right here.”

I have recently returned from Denver with whom my darling Dalton was available to attend. We heard again the importance of getting into that classroom and helping young ones and even a few older ones hear “where does that food come from”?Read the rest

Fellow Cowbelles,

Welcome summer! Hot and humid and I hope you have had some rain. It’s time once again for county fairs. I encourage everyone to make your county fairs if possible as we no longer have the State Fair as a platform to get our message out there. Whoa, what stories we could tell! The important message is this? Who is going to feed the ever growing population?Read the rest
