U.S. beef exports to South Korea resume

The third-largest export market for U.S. beef prior to the discovery of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) in the United States at the end of 2003, South Korea has agreed to open its market to U.S. beef products from cattle of all ages. The policy change was set to take effect in mid-May, according to U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) Susan Schwab.
